    • Farida Yang Thank You! I am using the 8oz the harder one. Sometimes I also use 2 8oz together for a harder resistance

  1. I have been using for 5 days. 6 oz band. it is no longer a challenge. I was slightly sore the first 3 days. I upped the band to 8oz. it gave me more resistance, but still not a challenge. I do not feel sore or tired after the 2 minutes. I just upped the band today..day 5…to 2- 6oz bands together. i felt more of a workout but I could go an easy 5 minutes without even feeling tired. now let me back up, i have been doing facial exercises for over an year. Maybe this is why the 6 and 8 oz bands are not enough for me. I do feel using two of the 6 oz bands together, provides me with a better workout, but not a great workout. you mentioned to go until failure. Your also mention in your video that after 2 minutes your faces is sore and tired. I am wondering why I am not reaching that point. I am going slow and i am making sure my form is correct. I am tilting neck slightly forward and up. I have been doing morning, midday and night. 2 sets of 3-4 minutes each block of workout. any thoughts or feedback??? Also you mentioned that you have used the facial flex since 34 but that you got botox injection at 37. I wonder why if the facial flex was working the way your testimony states? Thanks for you time and I hope to hear back from you. I am 53 yr old woman that has jowls and neck wrinkles.

    • 4acrefarmproductions Thank You. So the Botox was in my forehead that I got & wears off in 3 months. I use the facial flex on my lower face area and cheekbones. I don’t think it reaches the forehead area. Have you tried using 2 8oz bands? That’s what I usually use. I’m not sure if you are male or female but most likely men can do more. I sometimes go longer up to 20 minutes, it depends on when I get tired I just try and go to failure. Also are you holding the squeeze in a little each time, I do that a lot to get tired faster. 2 8oz bands is pretty hard for me, so it works really well on me.

      I am moving the piece as the instructions on youtube state and as you demonstrate. I have watched several videos. The first 3-4 days after each use, I felt the blood flow in my face increase. I felt my muscles getting a workout. It was a nice feeling. there was that resistant challenge in a small degree, but after 4 days it is gone. Maybe its because I have been doing some facial exercises off and on for a year that my muscles are somewhat more active than someone who is a true beginner. I hope this device works:) I will up the rubber band strength… again for responding.

      Like you, I had a hard time getting my muscles to feel tired and sore from the Facial Flex. What I did was buy replacement bands on eBay. There are Facial Flex brand rubber bands and also generic bands.

      I bought 14 + which is pretty thick and right now, I’m using 2 bands together (14 + 6) and my Facial Flex feels like a power lifting gym workout. I can tell the muscles are really working because at first I can just barely squeeze and get the ends to meet in the middle, but very quickly, I squeeze as hard as I can and I can’t make the parts touch in the middle anymore.

      With that much resistance, I only need about 2 minutes to feel my mouth and under chin muscles totally fatigued and feeling tight. Though I’m going to add Ayn’s variations. Such a great video, Ayn…Thank you. Howl at the Mooooon!

      My advice would be to buy supplementary bands with a higher gauge to get that stronger resistance your muscles need in order to really tone up. You’ll be very please with your accelerated progress. Good luck!

  4. I have used facial flex for some time, but have been reading lately that over time it can cause marionette lines. Have you heard this and what are your thoughts? Thanks:)

    • muzicgirl1 I feel it gets rid of mine! They used to be worse 10 years ago. I feel it flattens out the sagging and tightens the muscles to make the area flatter. Mine are nearly gone. I can’t understand how the article says that? It seems there are always pro & con articles but how can you be sure the research methods were even thorough or were from a legitimate source. In school we learned so many research studies were not too valid or from paid off scientists. I don’t think so for me personally it helps get rid of mine so much

    • Ayn Los Angeles Thanks for responding. It really is hard to know what to think when reading certain things on the internet. I love using mine, but it did get me wondering will this eventually happen over time using it, you know what I mean? Glad to hear that’s not the case for you. I don’t plan on stopping myself because all I’ve seen so far are good results. Do you take breaks using it and do you do it daily? Thanks again!!

      I feel that if you don’t position it correctly that you can end up with those lines that’s why it’s important to take a bit of break and do different exercise not just same flex and release 🙂 Just like with anything, too much of a good thing might not be all good.
